Life on campus as a Nigerian student is widely known and accepted to be a stressful one. From

classes to tutorials to cyber cafes and back again. Where is the time for proper health care? For

workers,schooling becomes extra hectic. Diet is one aspect of our lives that suffers

tremendously as a result of school and the result can be detrimental to our  health later in life.

Here are a few ways to stay healthy while on a campus diet.

1.Donotskipbreakfast

 

Early morning lectures is definitely not a new thing and it prompts a lot of students to ignore

breakfast in a bid to meet up with classes,but it should not be an excuse. Breakfast is a meal

that should not be ignored and it doesn’t have to be extravagant either. A simple bowl of cereal

or pap,a cup of milk or some fruits can go a long way in kickstarting your metabolism for the

day.

2 . Replace canned drinks with water

It may sound like a cliche to say canned drinks aren’t’t healthy enough,but its true. Water

flushes out toxins and aids digestion thereby preventing unnecessary bloating and grogginess.

This will help to keep you active throughout the day. A lot of students complain about the

expense of meals while in school,but the equivalent price of a bottle of drinks 10 sachets of

water. That is 10 times the quantity of the drink and if water is too plain,natural drinks like zobo,

3.Dinner
